GDT: Blues Vs. Hawks - 7:00 PM CDT

    QUOTE
    When: 7:05 tonight.

    Where: Savvis Center

    TV: FSN Midwest

    BLUES PREVIEW

The Blues are looking for their first point of the regular season after a 7-6 loss to San Jose on Saturday. Goalie Patrick Lalime has surrendered 15 goals in just three games, but Lalime earned praise for his play against the Sharks. The Blues have struggled with their defensive positioning. Defenseman Barret Jackman may return to the lineup tonight. Jackman passed his evaluation Monday, but the decision to play him will be made today.

    BLACKHAWKS PREVIEW

The Blackhawks made two major moves in the free-agency period to bolster their defense, and the early results have been mixed. Goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin has been mediocre through three games. He has a 3.71 goals-against average with an .853 save percentage. Team captain Adrian Aucoin has a sore groin and is doubtful for tonight's game.

    KEY STAT

4 - Chicago right winger Pavel Vorobiev leads the NHL with four goals in three games. Before this season, the 23-year-old had one goal in 18 games with the Blackhawks in 2003-04.

    INJURIES

Blues: F Keith Tkachuk (groin), doubtful; D Barret Jackman (shoulder), questionable; D Matt Walker (foot), out; RW Eric Boguniecki (shoulder), out.

Blackhawks: D Adrian Aucoin (groin), doubtful; LW Eric Daze (back), out.
I wouldn't miss a Blues game for the world.

          It's comedy gold.
You're being fucking dramatic. You own a TV and an air mattress. That's not exactly what I'd call "a lot to lose."

speaking of hockey, did anyone catch the Pens and Sabres on OLN last night? Sidney Crosby was VERY, VERY impressive. He picked up an assist, but made several slick plays that almost gave the Pens the win in the 3rd period. He has a point in every game thus far.

I can't imagine why the Blues would give out free tickets to a game on a Tuesday nite

I used to and will again, but after the lockout and their unimpressive start I just haven't got in to it yet.

They gave out free seats to Saturday's game too, still Savvis was 2/3 empty.

Is that right? I thought I heard on the radio that there were 17,000 plus there. I smell a rat!

2/3 empty? There were 6,000 people at a Saturday night game?
