  • Timmermann saying the right things at least

From the beginning of the process, Timmerman said he told Bartelstein, "I don't want to blow them out of the water."

After signing the contract, Timmerman told reporters, "If I can't make ends meet on over $2 million a year, I've got huge problems. Guys maybe get kind of competitive with it. Well, so and so made this. ...

"But is a few hundred thousand dollars here and there going to make that big a difference? You make dumber mistakes than that in your spending of it."
    --snip--

There were rumors circulating Tuesday afternoon of a possible trade of running back Lamar Gordon to New England, but Martz said if such a trade was in the works, he was unaware of it.
Sorry, guys, I know some of you for some reason love Arlen Harris, or Robert Holcombe Light, but he does nothing for me. Gordon showed me something this year before he got hurt.

The key was your last sentence.
And, frankly, it has never occured to me that "winning" a debate is important, or that I should be hurt when someone like Airshark or kah, among others (for whom winning a pseudo debate or declaring intellectual superiority over invisible others is obviously very important) ridicule me.

I can't remember - did he get hurt his rookie year as well? He just had fumble-itis that year, right?
