Blues held a 1-0 lead entering the third period only to be outscored 4-1. I checked the scoring-by-period stats and here's what I came up with.

        First period - Blues 53 / Opponents 42
        Second period - Blues 46 / Opponents 58
        Third period - Blues 40 / Opponents 60
        Overtime - Blues 9 / Opponents 2

        Thoughts?

That could imply that conditioning or mental toughness or both are an issue.
