  • Bad news for OU...

Norman police submitted three charges this morning to the Cleveland County DA's office after serving a search warrant at the residence of OU basketball player Jabahri Brown...

charges include possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphrenalia, and possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a city park, which is a felony.
Asked what he would do differently in Iraq, Kerry said, "Right now, what I would do differently is, I mean, look, I'm not the president, and I didn't create this mess so I don't want to acknowledge a mistake that I haven't made."

I always knew that Jabhari Brown was a punk.
“I’ve always stated, ‘I’m a Missouri Tiger,’” Anderson said March 13 after Arkansas fired John Pelphrey, adding, “I’m excited about what’s taking place here.”

Asked then if he would talk to his players about the situation, he said, “They know me, and that’s where the trust comes in.

Well, 2 of the 3 things don't make him a punk, and I think the other thing is now legal in Missouri, right?

So if he'd have taken one step backwards, he wouldn't have been charged with "Marijuana within 1,000 feet of a city park"?

Is weed legal in OK if you're not within 1,000 feet of a public park?

Just the fact that he had a bad enough reputation in Norman for the police to get a warrant to search his house tells me that he is a punk.

That, plus what I have seen out of him on the court.

I will tell you one thing, though. When Quin Snyder was going through all the Rickey Clemons crap, and many people - including opposing coaches - were turning against him, it was Kelvin Sampson that called him in support of him. So I feel bad for Sampson if there are problems with some of the players in his program.
