  • Why is so much time spent talking about gays?

Seriously, there is a new post about gays, with the same arguments every day. I can understand the posts about presidents, tax cuts, gun control, etc. because those issues affect all of us. But how can posts on gay issues get so many replies? I doubt many people on this board are gay (a few wouldn't suprise me though), so why is this such a big draw? How can so many people be so passionate about this issue?
Asked what he would do differently in Iraq, Kerry said, "Right now, what I would do differently is, I mean, look, I'm not the president, and I didn't create this mess so I don't want to acknowledge a mistake that I haven't made."

I think I should have added something along the lines of, I think gay people are second class citizens, just to prevent these crazy accusations.

yeah, but that wouldn't have shocked anyone either.
                      Are you on the list?

Because right now two people in love want to be married, and for some reason SOME people think that somehow affects them.
