  • Trip to the barber/bookie

Just got back from the friendly neighborhood barber who moonlights as a bookie.

He knows I don't bet but does know I follow hockey.

His take on tonite's Blues - Flames game, all the action says the Flames will win. He also had a guy bet $1,000 that the Blues will be shutout.
    LONG LIVE THE NOTE!

The guy himself is not very scary. I think (but have never asked) he's hooked up with some other fellows.

If the Blues lose tonight's game, it will be the first time in franchise history that the team has been shut out 3 games in a row.

Oh, and they're playing the NHL's hottest goalie tonight. Should be interesting...

Yup, a goalie that Calgary obtained for a second round pick in 2005.

Yet somehow Pleau has failed to find a good one with a future in 7 years.
