I remember a Schott quote saying "earrings are for fruits." The Reds were playing the Dodgers at the time and Henry Rodriguiz, Raul Mondesi and Bret Butler all wore earrings for a game...funny stuff.

This is kind of like when Dalmer was killed in prison.

Was anyone really sad to see him go?

I never rip on dead people, for great reason.

Schott wasnt a great team owner or an above average human being, but no need to make comments diminishing the life of others.

Unless we are speaking about Hitler, Bin Laden, or Saddam, then I see no reason to rip on dead people.

Of course, they are easy targets.

                      Jack,

I was talking about your lack of class.

                      Thanks,

                      Mr. Pot

                        Thanks.

Just trying to alert you on what I thought was classless on your part.

If you think cussing and ripping on certain things is classless, count me in.

Others do what I do, just not as vulgar about it.

flood it, team owner, flood it.

Schott showed her class when Eric Davis had to pay his own way home from Oakland after lacerating a kidney diving for a ball in the '89 (?) '90 (?) World Series, swept by the Reds 4-0 against a superior Oakland team. Davis spent a week or so in the hospital after the series.

We all know, of course, why the Reds won the series.
