  • New Year's Eve...1999

I was just looking at some of my old pics..and came across some pics that I best hide from the wife...

    Which got me thinking...

What was everyone doing during the millenium??

Grote...still dissecting Cobalt code for your Y2K systems??

Sorry Wang, my cult won't allow me to talk about that night.
If you believe in something sacrifice a hobo to it or don't bother.

I was at my brother-in-law's house on that night. As a joke, I went down to the basement and pulled the switch on his circuit breaker at midnight.

A whole bunch of people freaked. Me and my bro-in-law that it was a riot.

. . . and to tell you this: I work with gays, have friends who are gay, go to church with gays. Most of them are aware that I believe that homosexual behavior is sin. Some of them actually agree. Most don't. It's OK . . . because they also know or at least have been made aware of my multitude of sins: adulterous heart, lustful and covetous behavior, wicked pride, angry spirit . . . do I need to go on?

When the millenium came, I was sitting around thinking of all the silly people who celebrated it a year too soon, on Dec. 31, 1999.

                      Sorry. Couldn't resist.

I was in Times Square, ready to be nuked, and little did I know nothing would happen except I'd become clausterphobic as fuck at midnight. I dunno, NYC NY is great to do...............ONCE.

I did celebrate about 20 different entrances into the millenia though..
