  • Does Mrs. Clinton Have Trouble With Reality?

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Rep. John McHugh are picking a fight with the fictional "West Wing" over a scene aired Wednesday night in which an aide discussed closing a real-life New York military base.
When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

She was supposed to have had some trouble with realty, but they never really proved anything in court. As for reality---I don't know if not having trouble with reality would have helped much.

I think she's achieved a certain icon status where knocking her isn't really partisan. Kind of like Newt Gingrich used to be for your team. She's just THERE, waiting to be pounded upon. I don't think anyone can actually be blamed for it.

If I want to fantasize about piano legs, I'll buy a piano.
And, frankly, it has never occured to me that "winning" a debate is important, or that I should be hurt when someone like Airshark or kah, among others (for whom winning a pseudo debate or declaring intellectual superiority over invisible others is obviously very important) ridicule me.

                  Is this a rhetorical question?

                    Is that not humorous?

Just another instance of anti-left bias in the media.

The article says the are "picking a fight" in the first paragraph, which is obviously all that most people (here, anyway) seem to read.
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Rep. John McHugh are picking a fight with the fictional "West Wing" over a scene aired Wednesday night in which an aide discussed closing a real-life New York military base.
"Oh look - she's crazy - arguing with a TV show! Ha ha Ha. Piano legs."

Later in the article it says:
"We want to make sure that such a recommendation doesn't make it into another West Wing scene," the tongue-in-cheek letter says. "It is important that all White House advisors have the most current information to respond to such flawed proposals."
So the letter was "tongue in cheek", but the intro to the article makes it sound like she's crazy for taking this too seriously.

Yep, just another case of right-wing bias in the media.

                        Wrong.

They don't want things in the West Wing that might make them look bad.

They have no problem with things in the West Wing that makes Republicans look bad.

Yeah, it was tongue in cheek, but I think there is more to the story that the headline (as there always is.)

The letter was co-authored by the Republican House Rep from NY.

This was hardly a Hillary Clinton issue. It was a NY Congressional rep action.
