    Really, Marty? That's amazing!

You know, I think if you stick a fork in your eye, it'll hurt, too.

        He better be right.

        The six teams to dump:

Pittsburgh, Florida, Anaheim, Nashville, Atlanta, and Washington.

You would keep Carolina and the two Florida teams? Phoenix?

Washington definitely should be up there after their numerous blunders they have made the past couple weeks. I also wouldnt mind one of the three teams from the NY area being axed, though that will never happen.

You can't dump Phoenix now that an entire community is being built around the new arena. Beyond that, any team that plays in a city that only knows ice from what they put in their drinks should cease to exist, at least in its present location.

Since the Stars probably can't fold, they should be moved back north. Everyone else is up for grabs.

Regardless of the teams, it appears we all think the NHL has become too diluted.

The NHL went for the quick cash the new franchises had to pay to get in and the overall product declined.

I really think a long stoppage could be a good thing and maybe we'll have some sort of fiscal sanity afterwards.
