  • Bill Kollar sounds off at combine

Holding court at the Combine in the hallway of the Indianapolis Convention Center, the Rams’ demonstrative DL coach, Bill Kollar, took a few minutes to talk about DTs Ryan Pickett and Damione Lewis, a pair of former first-round picks who had more downs than ups last season. “Pickett played as good as anybody on the nose in his second year, but this past year he didn’t play as good,” Kollar said. “If he stays healthy, he’ll get back to where he was the year before. But he needs to keep his weight down. If you’re not a hardworking guy willing to bust your ass all the time, it’s easy to put on 30-40 pounds like nothing and then have to melt it down in camp.” Kollar said Lewis just “ripped everybody every which way but loose” in practice early last season and appeared on his way to a breakout season. “But then he hurt his ankle vs. Pittsburgh (in Week Eight), missed a whole month and limped around the rest of the year,” Kollar said. “The guy has been hurt each of his three years. This year, it’s almost a do-or-die situation for him, but I think his eyes will be opened.”

      Kollar is full of bullshit.
And, frankly, it has never occured to me that "winning" a debate is important, or that I should be hurt when someone like Airshark or kah, among others (for whom winning a pseudo debate or declaring intellectual superiority over invisible others is obviously very important) ridicule me.

I never have once seen Damione Lewis look dominating.
