  • Allain's role is 'net gain' for the Blues

The Blues credit Allain's traveling role with the development of Brent Johnson in the minors - where he has returned and will be without a goalie coach now - and current backup Reinhard Divis and prospect Curtis Sanford. General manager Larry Pleau has not wanted to have Allain with the NHL team full time even though several goalies have wished for it.
    Scary, scary stuff.....

    Wow.

So he gets credit for "developing" Johnson. That sure is one for his resume.
    LONG LIVE THE NOTE!

I think the scary part is how the players in the NHL wanted him to be up full time, but Pleau wanted him to travel.

      Pleau's ignorance/arrogance strikes again!

I'm not going to defend Pleau, Steve. But reporters never get or even report the whole story.

I'm sure there is more to it.
