If round one is a sign of things to come, this is going to be a great fight.

Erik Morales wins a unanimous decision and Jesus Chavez fought like a warrior. Very entertaining fight.

The 2nd round proved to be the fatal blow to Sanchez. He fought like hell, though. Morales is an incredible fighter. This was only the 2nd time I've seen him. Very impressive boxer.

Great fight, it will be interesting to see how Morales does at 130 lb against some of the top fighters there.

I'm amazed it took Lampley and Co. until the eighth round to notice Chavez was only fighting with one hand.

My wife, who is not a fight fan, brought it up in the fourth.

Morales will get knocked out by the better fighters in the class. He fought a great fight, but took a pretty good beating with one hand.

I wonder how long Morales can keep fighting fights like this, it must catch up with him eventually.

                  WEG,

                  I think it already has.

He has 47 pro fights -- and most have been wars. He looked to be tiring from the ninth on last night.

And how did his corner NOT notice Chavez was hurt? Morales could have knocked him out had he just stayed outside Chavez's right hand.

By the way, Cotto is the real deal.

Technically sound, with TONS of power. And unlike Mayorga, he has the dedication to train properly.

We'll be seeing big things from this guy.

Yeah he certainly looked impressive. I'd like to see him in a fight with a british fighter called Ricky Hatton, that would be on hell of a fight.
