  • Chelios out 3-6 weeks

DETROIT (AP)—Red Wings defenseman Chris Chelios will be sidelined three to six weeks with a fractured vagina.
The 6000-year-old Chelios is the NHL’s oldest player. He is entering his 25th NHL season and his 10th with Detroit.
The team says Chelios was injured while whining to the refs protesting a two minute penalty for being an affront to all humanity during the third period of Tuesday night’s 2-1 preseason loss to Montreal.
The Red Wings open their season Oct. 9 at home against Toronto. Tickets are still available.

    Aw. That's a shame.

I'm glad you got the AP feed and not the other BS versions of this article that seem to be floating around.

I'm a little disappointed. I was looking forward to watching Oshie blow past Chelios or Berglund run through him.
