Wish KC or St Louis would get an NBA franchise.

      The NBA hates Missouri.
“I’ve always stated, ‘I’m a Missouri Tiger,’” Anderson said March 13 after Arkansas fired John Pelphrey, adding, “I’m excited about what’s taking place here.”

Asked then if he would talk to his players about the situation, he said, “They know me, and that’s where the trust comes in.

Thats probably more accurate. I follow the NBA but I havent known a whole lot of others that do around here, other than most of the guys that I play basketball with regularly.

There are a few folks on here who discuss the league. However what never ceases to amaze me, is how a few will post just to make a negative remark about it.

The St. Louis corporate dollar right now is rather weak...I know the Blues are sitting at a significant shortfall right now on corporate sales..

Yeah, I dont like or follow hockey, and I somehow manage to avoid any forays into those threads, much less post anything negative about the sport.

I'd like the NBA in town just to go see a few teams play every year. I doubt I would follow it too much.

So how long will this honey moon last in OK City?

I think it will last a three or four seasons without putting a winning product on the court. However, they are setting up a good geographical rival with the Dallas Mavericks.

I'm gonna predict 2 years tops. One year wouldn't surprise me.

What the hell else is there to do in OKC?

                          It had to be said.

It's a bigger area than what I first thought.

From Wiki: The city's estimated population as of 2007 was 547,274[5], with a 2007 estimated population of 1,192,989[6]
