Listen to AC/DC’s “Rock N Roll Train”

    8/28/08, 9:00 am EST

AC/DC’s “Rock N Roll Train,” the first single from their upcoming Black Ice, is set to debut on radio stations today. Or, if you don’t feel like waiting patiently for your DJ to air it, you can just click play on the video above. The song sounds like trademark AC/DC, proving the band still knows how to rock 35 years into their career. While not as tenacious as the band’s “Stiff Upper Lip” single from eight years ago, “Train” is a lot more melodic and, thankfully, much better than those YouTube fan clips that came out last week.

Expect a music video for the song in the near future. Black Ice, the band’s first album in eight years, is due out in Wal-Marts on October 20th.

Sounds like the AC/DC of old!

Yes! I thought Brian Johnson's voice was shot, but he sounds great, for a man who'll be 61, Oct. 5.

Same here. My dad, too. So much so, in fact, he remembers where he was when he heard Bon Scott was dead.

Yep, starting in the US in October. Haven't seen any dates yet. I've never seen them live, so I definitely want to get tickets this time before they retire/die.

                  I like Bon Scott's work.

It won't be a debate with me, unlike Van Hasbeen.

After watching Behind The Music: AC/DC, Bon Scott was added to the list of people I'd have liked to party with.

Looks like the closest they'll come to St. Louis is Chicago. Although they're also going to tour the U.S. next summer.

                        Fixed, per Rolling stone copy.

Yup, and the fucktards here couldn't tell me the release date, even though they have an AC/DC section.

I actually thought the album was coming out this month. I've known for months about the exclusive Wal-Mart deal, that's mentioned on the radio.
