The concept is amazing. Not the game itself, Wright is trying to create an entirely new genre: "Massively Single Player Games". You play Spore by yourself, but your creation is in an interconnected universe. If you create a species or some development, there's a possibility that I'll encounter it on my world, even if I've never met you or have any idea who or where you are.

If it works, it'll be the most groundbreaking game since... well... maybe The Sims?

I can't see playing video games on my iPhone as being even remotely enjoyable. It sounds like a major pain in the ass. I can't even get my stubby fingers to text message people correctly - have to back up and correct shit all the time.

Sounds like an interesting premise, though. I may try this out on my mac.

Just feels like there's some lacking depth to things, and the folks I see who are really enjoying it are folks who like to use the creature and vehicle creators (and seeing that content in-game) more than the folks who are looking for actual gameplay.

It's a very "shallow" feeling game, like there's not a lot going on under the hood which is very odd for a Will Wright game. I'm pretty bored with it.
