I guess I'll repost from the other thread.

Changes in voter registration from a few states...

        Anyone notice a trend?

“I’ve always stated, ‘I’m a Missouri Tiger,’” Anderson said March 13 after Arkansas fired John Pelphrey, adding, “I’m excited about what’s taking place here.”

Asked then if he would talk to his players about the situation, he said, “They know me, and that’s where the trust comes in.

Nifty site where you can flip states around yourself and see what the outcome is.

All-inclusive site for past results. FDR got 98% of the vote in South Carolina in 1936.

The best polling site there is, fivethirtyeight.com.

A 269-269 tie, BTW, is not out of the question. Silver's website gives it a 0.83% chance of happening. One way it could happen would be for Obama to keep all the Kerry states, pick up Iowa and New Mexico (where he has nice leads), and pick up Nevada (thought to be a tossup).

              Obama by a nose.

At this point I think the election will be very close and would not be surprised if McCain wins. Can the GOP keep the ghost of presidents past (W) out of the debate?

Will they vote in November though?

The Dems have been disappointed before by new and younger voters.

One thread for everything relating to the election?
When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

That's the idea! Or at least for something that somebody coughkjoecough wants to talk about coughkjoecough but isn't worthy of its own thread.

In Alaska, because nothing deserves more attention than Alaska politics, Rep. Don Young leads his primary challenger, Lt. Gov Sean Parnell, by 239 votes out of 105,000 cast. This is important because Young, one of Alaska's crooks, is trailing badly in polls against the Democrat. Young has been Alaska's congressman since ninteen seventy fucking three.

I'd edit that table to remove the states that are already decided. For example, it doesn't matter how many people vote in California.
