I might take a shot at that NY Giants game. Work has me going back to NY again (4th time in about 7 weeks), and Meadowlands is about 50 miles away.

Problem is I don't know who to pull for that day. I'm not exactly a fan of the Skins, and I can't bring myself to pull for Sheli, Burress, and the rest of the vaGiants.

        OK, maybe I won't go. I don't know.

Is the sports cartel completely gone? I was hoping to get some info on the Ravens RB situation.

If that rumor is true they will probably lose every game he doesn't play in. Their back up QB situation is a mess.

According to my source who wishes to remain anonymous (initials C_D, who is a big Eagles fan), the New York Giants have been officially renamed the New York vaGiants.

The quote you heard from C_D is not rumor. They have been renamed.

Is there any way that we can get an Admin to place a vaGiants filter on any use of the word "Giants"? Would save some of a few seconds of typing.

I see a few of you have picked the winners above. Wanna take a stab at a pool we (some 25 buddies) have? We do a pick'em against the odds, only the likelihood of there being a tie is next to nil. Every spread is given a .5 bonus. Of the 25 guys, over the course of the season for 3 years, 38-40% correct wins the annual pot. We do a weekly winner as well and it is usually 11- or 12 on the non-off weeks.

Its not as easy as it seems. Good luck, if you want to try it.
