    Foul Ball Odds?

    OK, help me baseball experts. What are the odds of going to two Cards game in two nights and catching two foul balls. Because this is what happened to a woman I work with. She caught a ball on the third base side on tuesday and then nabbed another one yesterday in a luxury box.

    How many foul balls get hit into the stands in a game? 50-60ish?

        I've had my fingers on one and fought for another in all the games I've been to. I probably could have had a third but a Cubs fan saved me from getting hit in the head with the ball thanks to a glovesaveandabeauty. So I got him an Old Style for saving my life.

          Yeah. That was the closest I had ever come. It was hilarious. We were sitting there, talking about the foul ball she caught yesterday. And suddenly a towering foul goes flying in our direction. I was in the second row and she and her husband where right in front of us. The ball flies up past us, and looks like it's going into the upper deck. Her husband starts leaning over the edge like the ball is coming and I assumed he was goofing around (as he is prone to do) yet suddenly the ball comes banging down into our box and bounces off the floor, off the roof and ping-pongs about 3 or 4 times off of everything in the box before rolling right to the woman in question.

            Guy in the section in front of me got foul balls from consecutive batters earlier this year.
