Well regardless of whether you think it was GM or not, it's obvious the big three were behind trying to get the California regulations changed on having electric cars.
How short sighted were they? Sure they might have saved a lot short term, but long term? Imagine if they had been building on that technology, imagine where they would be today? All this press about the Chevy Volt, HELL they could have had several by now.
