Curtis to have sports hernia surgery
Eagles wide receiver Kevin Curtis will have sports hernia surgery and will be sidelined for a significant amount of time, coach Andy Reid said today.

Curtis was injured against Carolina last Thursday. He tried to practice this week but struggled, leading to the decision to have the surgery.

Reid said he is not interested in bringing in another receiver at this time. With Reggie Brown still out with a hamstring injury, the starting receivers Friday against New England will be DeSean Jackson in Brown's spot and either Hank Baskett or Greg Lewis in Curtis' spot.

    More on this story later.
Fuck Andy reid. With Brown nursing a bad hammy and now Curtis out till probably Week 5 or later, the depth chart is:

    1. DeSean Jackson
    2. Hank Baskett
    3. Greg Lewis
    4. Jason Avant
    5. Mike Gasperson
    6. Me

    That's not counting Westbrook.

Surely CSD is higher on the depth chart than you, right?

Jackson looks like he is going to be good, but he is a rook. Westbrook is seriously needed in this offense.

Not good for Westbrook, as he is now THE MAN. Can his health hold up to that kind of focus?

He's been doing it forever. Nothing changes but the date.
