  • Monday Morning Quaterbacking - Do we need a new QB

    It's only preseason - but

    Bulger has not looked good.

The offense has not looked good.

In fact - the offense always stinks in preseason.

I've been saying this for awhile now. Bulger reminds me of Warner in 2002 and 03. We're going to rue the day that we didn't draft Jay Cutler in '06.

This is a 4-12 or 6-10 team even if Johnny Unitas 1958 is quarterbacking it.

they messed him up for good probably. I hate the rams but I will root for them as long as Bulger is there.

2 games into pre-season is probably the wrong time to worry about needing a QB. He isn't going anywhere (until hurt), so might as well see how it goes. Trent Green is one sack from permanent brain damage, so he is no answer.

Bulger will not be a primary reason for this teams crapitude.

Bulger is not a qb with a promising future. We traded one to Cincinnati who gave some hints of what he will do for some team some day last night against Detroit.

On the upside---we did get a 7th round draft pick for him.

I would like to see what Bulger could do with a half decent oline. If his Oline sucks he's going to be garbage and get killed this year. I'm serious. If it's like last year, I could really see him dead on the field about 5 weeks into the season.

Oh, and it would be nice if he had a running back that would show up to camp. But we've been over that already.

Isn't it a bit unfair to start bagging on BBZ? I mean, he's doing the best he can right now...

                    ++

And if I'm correct, they didn't even draft a young QB this year either which boggles me considering Bulger's getting creamed last year, and Trent Greens upcoming brain damage the first time someone gets a good hit on him. But at least we have Brock Berlin. Right?

I think Brad Thompson should be the QB.

yeah, and this. I am so done with sj. I hope his ass gets booed off the field if he ever chooses to show up again.

No you don't. You just do not want to say Bulger, Green, or Berlin is an adequate answer. Because if you do, you will soon be proven wrong.

Bulger is "not adequate" because they fucking ruined him. I wish he had never been on the Rams.
