I am in a keeper league in which you can keep up to 2 players. My current team looks like this.

    QB - Derek Anderson
RB - Willie Parker and Willis McGahee
WR - Colston, Lee Evans, Chad Johnson
    TE - Witten

    There are no bench spots.

Passing Yards (30 yards per point)
    Passing Touchdowns (6)
    Interceptions (-2)
Rushing Yards (10 yards per point)
    Rushing Touchdowns (6)
    Receptions (.5)
Reception Yards (10 yards per point)
    Reception Touchdowns (6)
    Return Touchdowns (6)
    2-Point Conversions (2)
    Fumbles Lost (-2)

My question is, who do I keep? Willie Parker but up good numbers in yardage but they always gave the ball to Davenport to get into the end zone. Anderson put up monster numbers once he got the starting job, but can he duplicate it?

    What are the opinions here?

    I'd keep Parker for sure.

The second keeper depends on the number of teams in the league. The more teams there are, the more you should keep Anderson. The fewer teams there are, you should keep 85.

Think of it this way: who would get drafted first: 85 or Anderson? Therein lies your answer.

        Marques Colston - 225

          Where do you draft?

Given that jacked up scoring system, your QB is the most important player on any team. The winning team will score oodles of points with 6 pt QB pass TDs. The only question, therefore, is can you get a better QB than Anderson in the first round of your draft. If not, you MUST keep him. I am guessing you can't. I'd keep Parker, Anderson, then take Braylon Edwards with my first pick (you aren't winning the league without a massive year from Anderson anyway), then the rest of the draft you can draft the rest of the AFC North.

Willie was hurt for a major part of the year.

Parker did not get hurt until the end of the year when he broke his leg. He averaged 87 yards a game. The problem was he never put it in the endzone. With the additions of Mendenahall and Moore, I'm wondering how many touches he will get this year.

I understand your concern. Don't look for anyone, especially me, to tell you someone is a sure thing.

One thing you have in Willie is an actual starting RB who is not splitting carries with another primary RB. If you decide not to keep a RB, you're screwed, because all the starters will be gone once two rounds of keepers are selected. You need someone who will get you those 87 yd games and some catches out of the backfield.

McGahee is about to break down. You have no other RB.

You should very seriously consider taking Edwards, even if it's a round too soon.

That is a pretty crummy lot of players to choose from. Stay away from Willie. Mendenhall is going to be taking that job over, and for now he is going to get goal line carries. I'd keep Colston and Witten. Maybe Chad or Anderson instead of Witten.

Colston and Witten? Are you in his league?

You are right, he might want to keep Anderson with 6 pts for passing TDs. I wouldn't touch his RBs, though. Parker blows, and the current Pitt coaching staff dislikes him. Colston is a high valued player this year, and I really don't blame people for thinking that. Why are you down on him?

FWIW, Colston has a higher ADP than Chad Johnson. But by all means continue to throw out shitty advice.

I'd keep Witten for sure. What do you receive if you don't keep a 2nd player? supplemental pick or something? If not, then I would lean towards McGahee and Witten. In reality in kinda depends on were you are drafting and who else is being locked up in the league. Is Anderson going to be your best QB option? etc, etc....

Well, the crummy lot of players lost in the Super Bowl. With a 12 team league, you are not going to have Peterson and LT on every team.

The thought of keeping Witten has crossed my mind. As a TE, he put up better numbers than alot of WRs last year.

If I do not keep 2 players, it is just a pick in the first or second round that I would get (the 'Franchise' rounds)

I know for sure that Brady and Romo are being kept. I am willing to bet that Manning is too. I pick 8th in each round.
