He owns some property in Tucson and spends some time here in the winter. Everyone that has met him says he's really a nice person.

Mick Jagger is in better shape than far too many NBA players. It's up in the air whether the same can be said of Keith Richards.

Imagine pulling in for gas in Springfield, IL, and seeing....oh, yeah, there's Paul McCartney in an '89 SUV.

a friend of mine works at an ice creame place down here in springfield. he said on monday (i think it was monday) they get a call saying a green suv is going to be there in 15 minutes and to take care of them. they all thought it was a prank but sure enough, 15 minutes later a green suv pulls up and it's paul mccartney. he signed autographs for 30 minutes and then left. kinda cool that paul freakin' mccartney was less than a mile from my house.

I'm not impressed. If it was John, then I'd be impressed.

You know what wouldn't be a whole lot of fun? Trying to get an ice cream cone and having to sign autographs for 30 minutes. You really would have to like attention, which Paul does. I can't imagine John doing. Ringo, sure. But not John or George.

Trust me, if you are in a gas station in Springfield, IL it's mandatory that someone on the premis has been attacked by the Sleeve Monster. I'm impressed that they all at least have a shirt on which is unusual for a gas station there as well.

Jokes aside, that's pretty god damn cool to just run into him like that and have him be cool enough to stop and talk for a bit and take a pic with some locals.
