    2008 NBA Draft - News and Notes -

    Is Portland the best team in the West already if thier big man is healthy?

    Are the Heat back in it with a healthy D-Wade and Beasley the beast?

    What does Seattle need to compete?

          They dont have much to trade, so it might be awhile. They need to draft smartly.

            They weren't going to get a game changer for a guy with a bad back who gets $44M over the next two years. I think they did pretty well.

              Jermaine O'Neal is overrated. Shoots a low percentage for a big man, and has trouble staying healthy.

                      They'll be better, sure, as long as O'Neal quits thinking of himself as a focal point of an offense and concentrates mostly on rebounding and defending and doesnt shoot outside of 10-15 feet.
