  • The Recommendation Thread

I thought it would be cool to have a one-stop shop place for us to go to offer a thumbs up or thumbs down on items we, as consumers, have tried. Be it movies, music, books, restaurants, whatever.

If you want to go into detail, that's cool, too. If not, a simple , or or other will do to express your sentiments.

Just think of the debates we could have.

Go to Hodak's. Get half a chicken with fries and slaw. Do this often.

I don't recommend watching chris duncan play baseball. I do recommend watching Ryan Ludwick.

Also, for people on the Illinois side, Sake, the sushi bar by the O'Fallon 15, is really good.

My grandpa still calls this place Tony's, after Tony Hodak, who his mother was friends with back when the place opened in the early 1900's. I give this place two thumbs up, as does everyone in my family.

            That explains slender figure.

Dear God, KBF here. I'd just like to say thanks, once again, for allowing Dusty Baker and I to live during the same time period. Every time I think he's given me his last gift -- overpitching Prior in the playoffs, getting cocky in Game 6 vs. the Angels, blowing another game for the Cubs -- he does something stupid like pitching to Albert Pujols. Thy will be done, baby!!!!!

The Super Walmart foot long sub sandwiches are not as bad as one might think. I'm eating one right now and They only cost $4 too.

++ Make sure and get the supreme with the lettuce, tomato, and onion. Sometimes, when I don't feel lazy, I buy those veggies fresh and just add them to a plain sub. Oh, and add Hellman's mayo. That's a must.

I also recommend high-definition television. If I had three thumbs, I'd put them all up.

Great recommedation. Even the women of the Lounge should try it.

I recommend that if the women of the Lounge do take your suggestion, they should also take pictures and share them with the Lounge.

It's ok. I prefer the sushi sports bar over at Japanese Garden.

I recommend ksbluesfan. His posts suggesting lesbianism are far superior to any posts on lesbianism that you will ever find.

Japanese Garden is also good, but really damn expensive.
