Stewart raised the point last night that had he not fucked up so frequently, he'd be one of the most beloved presidents ever because of stuff like this.
He looks like a regular guy to me, who just happens to be a douchebag.
Put aside your personal feelings for the job he has done and tell me why it's not cool for the President to come across as a normal guy once in a while.

Because he has a history of acting like a "normal guy" during the most inappropriate times. Plus, he has never shown any sense of gravitis ot seriousness -- this is how he is all the time, unserious and incurious.
At least he stopped playing golf -- wouldn't want to give those widows and orphans the wrong idea.

Great guy to own your baseball team and to have as a neighborhood. Terrible President.
I got buddies that are like family but I would trust them with anything more complicated than washing my car much less running a country. Bush is like one of those buddies.
Most will disagree but I don't think he is an evil guy. I just think he wasn't qualified for the job and was maneuvered into decisions by evil guys. Sadly, the buck stops with him and it is a results oriented business so that is all that matters.

I dont think Bush is evil, but I wouldnt loan my '89 Chevy Celebrity to him.
He has the aura of being a fuckup and would probably get a scratch on it somehow.
But yeah, probably a fun guy to have a beer with.
“I’ve always stated, ‘I’m a Missouri Tiger,’” Anderson said March 13 after Arkansas fired John Pelphrey, adding, “I’m excited about what’s taking place here.”
Asked then if he would talk to his players about the situation, he said, “They know me, and that’s where the trust comes in.
