  • Rib America. Has anyone been to this?

I've always heard it was overpriced, but they have some pretty good entertainment.

    Yes.

    It's overpriced.

Yes. Over-priced. and now, you even have to pay after 5 pm on Friday just to get in for the entertainment. At least the shows used to be free.

Ridiculously over-priced. My recollection from last year for two people to both have around three beers two bottles of water (it was hot) and some ribs was north of $75.

You won't be all that impressed by the ribs either. Based on your various Q comments my guess is yours are better.

Thanks guys, I've heard a few folks complaining about this event. Now you folks give me more confirmation that I don't need to go.

Good lord, for $75 bucks I could throw down with a very nice dinner.

All the ribs are cooked over charcoal-not with an offset smoker. Not bad but not ideal.

Yes I have been to it before and like others said it is way over-priced. And last year they started to charge you just to get in.

It is some good shiznit though.

I would like to see KC and the Sunshine Band. That would be a trip back to my teen years.

                        It's yum.

But, the food is too cheap.

If this is the same deal that was in Des Moines last summer, you are correct. And it's too bad, because it's a pretty convenient way to sample different styles and sauces.
