  • Evan Makovsky (EMak) takes gratuitous shot at his former station

He says on the air, quote, "Clearly. 1380 has more personality than 590." How about that?

    Earth shattering stuff right there.

Oh my God, did we just have a DJ Fone reference?
When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

I don't know which is more shocking...The fact that a former employee, who was kicked to the curb, dissed the former employer who did the kicking; or the fact that somebody took a "shot" at 590 (no offense, Skippy). Not like that place is going anywhere fast

According to Tim McKernan, EMak is buying his air time.

I had no idea. He really needs to open up and let us know what's going on in his life.

Funny thing. Never heard Emak say 1380 "clearly" had more "personality" than 590 while producing the "Bottom-line". Yet, one day on the air @ 1490/1380 and he knows the difference already.

Don't entirely agree. The problem at 590 is not the on-air talent. It's upper level management. Evan Crocker should submit his resignation post haste. Steak Shapiro, just pay the electric bill in Atlanta and stay out of St. Louis' business. However, EMak is a no talent on-air, in my opinion. Almost reminds me of Rich from Maryland Heights without the psychotic behavior. Just bad on the radio. One of the worst I've ever heard in St. Louis. And that's saying something.

I had no idea that was him! Thanks!

Does he still do a Fone Call?
