National debt surges to $7 trillion

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The federal government's debt -- the accumulation of past budget shortfalls -- totaled more than $7 trillion for the first time as of Tuesday, according to a Treasury Department report.

And we're all losing so much sleep over this. The Dems worrying about the National Debt is a recent phenomenon and what's delicious about it is that they enjoy spending all of everyone else's money so easily. What a tired and useless subject.
