        AL team...

Dark horse....Rays? Yeah...not likely, but you never know. Their DH is Gomes...he's gotta be as good/better (Bonds).

          Good choices all fellows -

But if I'm San Diego where one more run every other game may get you a win -

          I'm jumping that line.

2 of the top 4 hitters for average for the Padres are pitchers Germano at .286 and Peavy at .267.

Sign Bonds - move Gonzalez to the outfield - and start competing.

I say no one. I think MLB has secretly blacklisted Bonds.

"for the integrity of the game"

I also think bonds may realize he's persona non grada. Why else is he still unsigned?

So he's saying he wants to play?

The only internet access I have is while I'm here at work or on my blackberry which isn't the best so I'm way behind on some stuff going on.

And I hope nobody even bothers with him.

Detroit. Jim Leyland will snatch him up.

Mt. Leyland has erupted again, and has promised lineup changes, Mr. Illich has deep pockets...Bonds played for Leyland in Pittsburgh, when they were last worth a shit.

Unless he's really desperate to get back into the game, I'm not sure about San Diego.

That place is a graveyard for power hitters.

I seem to remember Leyland screaming at Bonds during Spring training the last year he was with the Buccos. Bonds would be even more difficult to deal with now I bet.
