I guess I just don't understand all the bitching about Glaus. After one month, when he admittedly hasn't been his best, he's on pace to drive in 117 runs. I don't care if he doesn't hit another home run this year. If he drives in 100 runs, he's more than done his job.

no kidding. i'm fine with him. he's been good with the glove, and he's come through in a few clutch situations. and like you said, he's on pace for a ton of rbis and hasn't even really been on a tear yet, which is bound to happen.
izzy actually gained my confidence last year, something i've never had when he's entered the game. but man, what is up. 3 blown saves already this year, w/ a 7.11 ERA. he's on pace to outdo his horrible 2006 season. he better not be hiding an injury again like he did that year.
also, as terrible as izturis has been with the bat, he's been that big of an upgrade in the field over eckstein, and has made plays eckstein wouldn't dream of pulling off that have probably saved a few runs.
