  • A question about posting pics on here.

    Why does the pics taken from Flickr seem to appear only to those who post them? I've posted several of those pics, but I get a Red X response from everyone else. I've also seen others try to post them and I get the Red X.

    Does that site have a code that keeps those pics from being shared?

      Some sites prevent "remote loading", which is what you're trying to do when you post pics here hosted by someone else.

          Did Flickr change their policy? I thought you could link to them in the past? Heck I know you could.
          Be passionate about what you believe in, or why bother.

              Well, what Kev was doing was just copy/pasting the URL from the address bar, rather than right-clicking and getting the URL from the pic itself.

                      Kev.. Right click on the picture itself, select properties, you will see address URL, you want to copy and paste that address.
                      Be passionate about what you believe in, or why bother.
