Not as strong as when I went in 2006 but not bad. I like My Chemical Romance, The Roots, Flyleaf, Disturbed, Matusyahu and O.A.R.

Plus, alway nice to see the old dudes like Jerry Lee Lewis before they die off. And half of going down there is hanging out on Beale St. after the concerts are over.

I went last year and there were way too many trashballs there for my liking. Combine being shoulder to shoulder with them and very hot weather, it was not very entertaining.

We're going in July to a Memphis Redbirds game and then on to Tunica but not this weekend. Too many people.

If you believe in something sacrifice a hobo to it or don't bother.

Ben Folds and Santana are the only acts that caught my eye. The rest seems like 3 days of fail.

I know it won't be hot this weekend. Seeing all the hoosiers is part of the entertainment for me. But I understand some people don't like crowds and not everyone loves the line-up. Shit though, as far as I can tell, for $65 over three days it isn't bad. To each their own though. I was just curious if anyone from here was going to be there so I could put some faces to the names and buy them a beer.

Not exactly the Wacken Open Air festival, is it?

I haven't been to Music Fest, but I have been to Jazz Fest in New Orleans, and it was a blast. At least there should be decent BBQ in Memphis.
