  • My Property got hit by a Tornado

Yesterday - -either that, or straight line winds. Seriously.

We have a giant oak uprooted, the entire wood fence is demolished and our new roof is damaged. Oh, and it yaked our spark supressor right out of the mortar on our chimney and flung it several hundred yards.

I also have a neighbor's metal shed twisted all over my yard.

Take a different vacation next year, Kev.

West Texas in Scurry County. They don't know if it was a vortex or straight line winds. Lamesa, Texas got slammed with BASEBALL sized hail.

How does one get rid of a felled tree, anyway?

Dudes with chainsaws, chippers and other heavy equipment, but it didn't technically fall -- just uprooted and shifted into the one next to it.

Well now you have the beginning of the hole to build your swimming pool.

Losing an oak in Texas is a bad thing.

You know what Moe, I took a look at the US severe weather map yesterday afternoon, noticed some red counties in West Texas (red means tornado warning) and wondered to myself if you were in one of those counties, since you are the only person I know of that lives in west Texas.

Turns out that you were. Looks like you live right in tornado alley. Another reason to get out of Texas, lol.

Good luck on getting your property cleaned up and glad everyone is alright.

Asked then if he would talk to his players about the situation, he said, “They know me, and that’s where the trust comes in.

Glad to hear it was property damage only, Moed. Hang in there buddy. And thank god for insurance.
