Barry Trotz and his staff got extensions today, no word on pay and contract lengths. Many Nashville fans are not happy at this and want to see a change.

FWIW, he did a pretty good job of getting the Predators to the playoffs. If he was going to be fired, it should have been last year after their first round defeat because that team had a whole lot more talent.
Whatever it takes for the Predators to relocate is fine by me.

About 4 years ago I passed him in the hall. He was leaving the Southern Ice Arena with his kids, I was coming in for my league game. I was decked out in my Canucks gear, and this was right around the time Bert rearranged some Predators' beak, so Trotz looked at me.
When he did, he didn't turn his head. He turned his body. Like his cervical spine has been fused. I said "What's Up Coach?" No reply.
