ESPN has a handy feature where you can sort hitting stats by people who are qualified for the batting title.
Surprisingly, there are six people hitting worse than Cesar Izturis. Alfonso Soriano (!) and Troy Tulowitski (!!!) are two of them. Adam LaRoche is off to the worst start in the league, hitting .123.

So I've been trying to figure out who Izturis reminds me of, and I recently got it...
You know that really old Seinfeld where the gang is at a retaurant (not the diner) and the menu catches on fire and George puts it out and then accidentally blames it on the busboy and the busboy gets fired and then George and Kramer go to his apartment and they leave the door open and his cat runs away...
Izturis looks like the busboy. Seriously, think about it.Of course you do.Comment
