  • So Hillary is the nominee now?

Man, a lot can happen in a weekend when you're not paying attention.

Obama says people in the Midwest who lose their jobs are "bitter," and this somehow opens the door for Hillary? And her new game plan is to drink shots to prove what a regular guy -- I mean, gal -- she is?

I don't get this latest controversy at all.

Hillary as the nominee = President McCain

A lot of independent voters that go for Obama won't vote for her....

They're looking for any chink in the armor...

Its kind of funny because although it was a poor choice of words, he's correct. People are bitter about the government.

The mainstream media insists that this must be a controversy.

Obama's an Elitist. This coming from a campaign that said states that voted for Obama in the primaries 'don't matter'.

Honestly, I'm getting to the point where I'd vote for Coultier over Clinton.

Something I forgot to mention....a lot of conservatives that may stay home rather than vote for McCain or Obama will come out in droves to make sure Clinton isn't President.

So let's see, if the conservative evangelicals, blacks, and many independents stay home in November, we could be looking at an all-time low voter turnout.

FWIW, I've been pretty successful at talking with with lot of my black friends and associates to stay home if Obama doesn't get the Democratic nod. Quite a few stated that's been their plan all along. Some say they'll vote for McCain.

Hillary simply cannot win a general election.

It's very possible.....I think a lot of people could even vote for Nader just out of spite for the other candidates. You may see the president elected with 30% of the vote

AW was saying the opposite - people that would normally stay home would come out to vote against Clinton.

That would also be cool. I'd like to see him win all 50 states.

Because we're so enamored of a third Bush term?

I'm as interested as the next person in seeing Hillary so humiliated she drops out of politics completely, but I'm not sure McCain is going to be much of a prize, either. But, hey, maybe the war with Iran will perk up our economy.

I'm more interested in seeing who McCain picks as his VP, at his age he may not make it through a full term
