                        Well, in fact we might suck. Observe, if you will, the 2003 Kansas City Royals and the hazards of getting excited over a fast start.

                        But if you take the Cardinals' 2008 game plan--"try to hold our noses above water until some of those injured pitchers come back"--then this is all excellent. I think KBF said somewhere that every game we win right now is house money.

                        I'm hoping to take three of four in San Francisco, which would mean a 10-3 start. That would kick ass.

                            Never hope for a 4-game sweep, unless you're down by four games with four to go. Too hard to do against any team.
