  • Of the 3, Hillary was best

She was the best senator. Not necessarily the best future cic. She asked Petraeus the sharpest questions, addressing the issue of how little we have to show for how much we have done.

McCain was said to be obviously most qualified to be commander in chief---by a guy on Fox.

Obama said the criteria for success was so high that it was unattainable, and they could not answer his question to define something acceptable that could actually be accomplished.

I thought Obama defined the Iraq issue exactly as he needs it to be defined for the general election.

    McCain looked intelligent....

McCain: There are numerous threats to security in Iraq and the future of Iraq. Do you still view Al Qaeda in Iraq as a major threat?

Petraeus: It is still a major threat, though it is certainly not as major a threat as it was say 15 months ago.

McCain: Certainly not an obscure sect of the Shiites overall?

    Petraeus: No, no sir.

McCain: Or Sunnis or anybody else then? Al Qaeda continues to try to assert themselves in Mosul, is that correct?

Petraeus: It is senator, as you saw on the chart. The area of operation of Al Qaeda has been greatly reduced in terms of controlling areas they controlled as little as a year and a half ago.

Jackie didn't want to get her hair messed up. Laura was a dead fish. Hillary liked the nasty things, so she was the best of the 3 in my book too.

Then, clearly, this country can't afford to lose her as a Senator.

Hillary has her strong points - she needs a new campaign guy or girl.

She proved, once again, that she should remain in the Senate.

After what a dozen different positions on the war...she finally found one you like eh?

I didn't see them all...it got to be way too boring. Of the wordy blowhards I did see I thought Feingold was the best and he was plenty tough and would make a much better president then lightweight Obama. Too bad he didn't run.

Obama's problem is his domestic and trade policies are a recipe for further economic downturn. He seems to be taking pages out of Hoover's playbook.

She has Bill...other than that...she has nothing to offer other then ever changing positions and outright lies.

Hillary asked good questions---and it was good for her to point to the outrageousness, or stupidity, of Bush making an executive cimmittment without advice and consent from the senate---

                    Feingold was devastating and impressive.

Obama had a different agenda---and i do not find fault with him doing what he quietly did. He framed the issue of the Iraq war exactly as should be framed for the general election. They could not answer "what is an attainable goal, other than something impossible to sustain?"----because they do not set policy---Bush does. When McCain has no answer to the question they could not answer----it will indicate he is not prepared to be commander in chief.
