  • Four-year-old Kills Little Brother

In East St. Louis. Love the mother's assignation of blame:

East St. Louis, IL (KMOV) - East St. Louis police are investigating the suspicious death of a two year old boy.

His 4-year-old brother is suspected of killing him, and his mother tells News 4 that he was pretending he was a professional wrestler.

Jacqueline Davis says she came out of the shower and found her two-year-old son Jacquion unresponsive on his bedroom floor.

She says her four-year-old son told her and police that he was pretending to be WWE professional wrestler who he watches dominate opponents on the Friday night show.

The 4-year-old allegedly choked his brother with part of a curtain.
Rescuers flew Jacquion by helicopter to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital where doctors treated him in intensive care for four days until he died Tuesday.
Sources familiar with the case tell News 4 that autopsy results could take two weeks and that a police investigation is pending.
The victim's mother says she's convinced exposure to professional wrestling played a part in the tragic murder.
Maybe you shouldn't leave your four-year-old in charge of your two-year-old.

And how does a four-year-old come to discover and watch wrestling all by his lonesome?

And this is coming from someone who hates, hates, HATES, rasslin'.
His mind is not for rent, to any god or government.

Dude, she was taking a shower.
From this day forward, I no longer shall tinker with the machinery of death.

For more than 20 years I have endeavored-indeed, I have struggled-along with a majority of this Court, to develop procedural & substantive rules that would lend more than the mere appearance of fairness to the death penalty endeavor.

I feel morally and intellectually obligated simply to concede that the death penalty experiment has failed.

The path the Court has chosen lessens us all. I dissent.

Sounds like Mr. McMahon will be getting a letter soon. Just fucking tragic. We've always been accused of coddling our kids regarding what they watch and whatnot, but this is the reason why. Now that they're 14 and 12, we give them quite a bit of lattitude, but at that age, we never let them watch wrestling and whatnot. And no, I'm not blaming wrestling or TV. Granted, kids will see things in other places and some kids are predisposed to be hyper or whatnot, but I have to think this could have been prevented.

Sad indeed, Birdo, I have a nephew who is going on 4, who has a little brother who'll be 2 in May.

They are both hellions, but no way in hell to they watch WWE.

And it was apparently enough time for her four-year-old to kill her toddler.

It's why children that age shouldn't be unsupervised. It would be her fault the same as if she were taking a shower and the kid choked on a marble.

And again, how did the children come to watch rasslin'? It's wholly inappropriate for that age (or any age).

I'm guessing "I was only taking a shower" will be quite comforting after the funeral.

How sad. Kids should never be allowed to watch television. Its bad for their brain.

Okay, this is waaaay too harsh.

Now that I think about it, as a father of twins, a better response should be "There but for the grace of God go I."

Although it still doesn't excuse letting them watch (semi) adult programming.

IF the parents let kids watch wrestling, they should definitely explain to the child YOU CAN'T DO THESE MOVES ON THE BABY!!!!
