on a 5 on 3, the rangers score and its under review. puck goes above the goal, if Gomez touched it with his stick, its high sticking and no good. if it was scuderi who touched it and put it in, it counts. and from the VS angle above, it looks like scuderi stopped gomez's stick, but neither touched the puck as it kinda went behind MAF and should be a goal.

My Canucks are a point up on the hometown Preds for the snowman seed, and the honor of bouncing the top seed, most likely the Wings.

You hate the Canucks, but those were the Bert/Ruutu/Cooke Canucks, right? They're all gone!

Preds are division rivals.

I'd like to see the Avs miss the playoffs just because they made such a big push at the deadline. Nothing against Joel Quenneville, but I really want them to lose.

I want the Predators to miss the playoffs too because there is still a remote possibility that they could leave Nashville for Kansas City if their attendance doesn't get better.

I was pulling for the Coyotes to make the 8th seed, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

I don't hate the Canucks as much as I did a few years ago. Getting rid of Bertuzzi helped. If they make the playoffs, I'm fine with that.

In the East, I wanted the Sabres, Capitals and Panthers to make the playoffs. I didn't want the Bruins to make it though just because I don't think their owners deserve it.

I hope the Kings, Thrashers and Lightning win every game they have left.

no way in hell the panthers can make it and unless a miracle, buffalo is basically out too. a shame since i wanted buffalo in and philly out myself. i'd also take boston & ottawa out as well

the caps~canes game is gonna be really interesting though. winner of the southeast could make the playoffs while 2nd place could be out totally and carolina has been sitting a bit too pretty.
