How in the world is that possible?

I know they have a young rotation and all...but ODALIS Perez?? He hasn't had an ERA under about 5.50 in about 3 years.

Mick Jagger is in better shape than far too many NBA players. It's up in the air whether the same can be said of Keith Richards.

I was going to post something similar. This is right up there with Christmas as my favorite time of the year.

I think this also means that I have to BBQ.

I got some steaks and chicken waiting for me to fire up the grill.

I can't believe I am excited about seeing the Nats and Braves play. This is a crazy time of year.

Nice. Chicken sounds about right. I had a strip two nights ago, and while I could probably eat one every night, I haven't bbq'd chicken in a while.

As an aside, my wife and I usually purchase a half a cow from a butcher each year and then we pick what we want (ground beef, roasts, different cuts of steak--strips, ribeyes, fillets, etc.). We choose the thickness of our cuts of steak and how many we want packaged together. Then, we stock our deep freeze. It's the way to go if you're a meat-eater. We do the same with pork. Pork burgers are bueno.

Anyone know why the Braves and Nats are only playing a one game series?

(And can we get this pinned?)

Guess I'll throw this here since we don't have a GDT yet. Has a decision even been made on who's going to start it for tomorrow?

Greetings from Busch and the pre-opener workout.

TLR says this is his lineup for Game 1 of No. 162:

                              Schumaker 7
                              Ludwick 9
                              Pujols 3
                              Glaus 5
                              Ankiel 8
                              Molina 2
                              Izturis 6
                              Wainwright 1
                              Miles 4

TLR said he may switch Ludwick and Ankiel in the batting order; will think about it.

                              Ludwick over Barton...

Kennedy sitting against the tough LHP, Francis.

Opening Day STL roster has 11 Cardinals who weren't among the 25 on opening day, 2007.
