I am finally surrendering my Illinois DL and am getting a MO DL, do they accept Debit/Credit cards for payment?

I know they take checks, not so sure about the cards.

Do you have all the crapola they require?

The one out by me is checks or cash only...

I'd rather go to the dentist than the DMV.

Depends on the office, actually. The Deer Creek office on Big Bend takes debit cards. Other offices take them, but charge a processing fee. I'd call ahead if you need to be sure.

Most are privately owned contract offices and will differ on what type of payment they take. Call ahead.

If I would ever happen to go postal, that's the place I'd do it. I'd like to blow up that f'ing place in Oakville. Btw, they only take cash or checks at that office. I was just there this week.

When I changed my DL from IL to MO back in the early 80's I had to take the written and driving test. Like an idiot I didn't read the "Rules of the Road" and almost flunked.

I'm not sure if you still have to do that but you may want to check.

Also the license office at Manchester and 270 next to Casa Gallardo is rarely crowded. I renewed plates there this week and was the only one there.

1: go to IL DMV and tell them you lost your ID. They will make you a new one.
2: turn the new one into MO to get a MO state ID.
3: cut a hole in the box
                          4: ...
5: profit. You now have real ID for both states.

Why would you need ID for 2 states?

If you wanted to get an in-state hunting or fishing license....hypothetically speaking, of course.
