Anyone have any experiance with them? I am looking at buying a bike but it is in London. I'm pretty leary about it. From what I am reading, it all looks pretty legit but this is just a REALLY good price for the bike so I am admittedly hesitant. Anyone know anything about them?

How much is it going to cost to ship?

Is the bike street legal in the US?

        Purchase cost includes shipping.

        Yes.

Find out if you can escrow the money some way. Moneybookers seems too much like Western Union...in that you have no protection from fraud.

I looked at the site. They do offer escrow. I would have 14 days to reject the shipment upon inspection. The problem is, that I think I am responsible for return shipping. I don't know how much that is, but I can't imagine it being cheap.

Ok, upon further review.....this is definately a scam.

Here is the last email I got from him.

If you want to purchase it, let me explain you how MoneyBookers works and how we can proceed:
To start the official transaction, I need your full name and shipping address.
As soon as I receive your info, I will forward it to MoneyBookers, they will start the transaction and notify you with all the instructions (payment, shipping, my account status etc.) One of their agents will be assigned to handle the payment. You have to make the payment using the exact details they will provide you with and when the payment is complete, you have to send them the payment information, they will verify it and take care of the delivery. You will have a 14-day return policy, so you will have the chance to test and inspect the bike and decide either you keep it or not. If you decide to keep it, they have the power of attorney so they will transfer the title into your name and release me the funds, if not they will be responsible for the return shipping and you will have a complete refund within 3 days.
Anyway, they will explain you detailed the entire process.

The part that stands out to me is: One of their agents will be assigned to handle the payment. You have to make the payment using the exact details they will provide you with.

I'm willing to bet that the exact way they will have me make a payment is to send it directly into his account.

If this is from England I would think they would know how to write and speak the Queen's English. That statement was not quite in the Queen's English.
                  I say scam.

I like to think I am smart enough not to fall for something like that. I had to look into it though. This bike was freaking awesome.
