CLINTON, Mo. -- The Henry County prosecuting attorney is trying to decide whether to charge man who accidentally shot and killed his wife. The shooting was Saturday night at the couple’s home in Deepwater, south of Clinton. The sheriff says the husband apparently tried to shoot a hole through a wall to install wires for a satellite television system. One of two bullets hit and killed his wife. The husband could be charged with involuntary manslaughter

    Oh my goodness.

Don't most satellite services have free installation?

            Hmmmm....something's fishy.

I find myself wanting to LOL at this, but due to the fact that a person died, kind of tempers that emotion.

I don't think he needs to be charged with any criminal behavior, although I can think of many other ways to get holes into a wall for cable installation.

Maybe they haven't invented drills yet, there in Deepwater.

That his wife went along with this ill-fated plan signals that the gene pool got a bit stronger minus her participation in it.

She maybe should have thought to stand outside with her hubby, instead of sitting in the room where he was shooting at. But, hey. Whatever.

LOL...will never forget his white shoes

Cousin Vicki: I'm going steady, and I French kiss.
Audrey Griswold: So? Everybody does that.
Cousin Vicki: Yeah, but Daddy says I'm the best at it.

Cousin Eddie: How do you like yours, Clark?
Clark: Oh, medium rare, a little pink inside.
Cousin Eddie: No, I mean your bun.

Cousin Eddie: I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?
Clark: You're the gourmet around here, Eddie.

Eddie: I got laid off when they closed that asbestos factory, and wouldn't you know it, the army cuts my disability pension because they said that the plate in my head wasn't big enough.

Clark: Hey, hey, easy kids. Everybody in the car. Boat leaves in two minutes... or perhaps you don't want to see the second largest ball of twine on the face of the earth, which is only four short hours away?

                            Clark: Real tomato ketchup, Eddie?
Cousin Eddie: Oh, nothing but the best.

Aunt Edna: Why don't you just ask him for the money, Eddie? He sure as Hell can't take a hint.
Cousin Eddie: Well, I didn't want to ask you, Clark, you know, but could you maybe spare a little extra cash?
Clark: Sure, Eddie, how much do you need?
Cousin Eddie: About fifty-two thousand dollars.

"I didn't know a bullet would go through drywall because I'm stupid" isn't a defense to negligent homicide. Unless you're using your gun to lay coax in a castle, most rounds will carry well beyond the intended target. Most folks know that. He should be held to that standard.
