I can only get 550 am in the early mornings where I live so I'm forced to listen until 1380 comes in and I was shocked to hear Brian McKenna report that his "sources" have told him that Mark Cuban is interested in buying the Cardinals and BallPark Village. He said Jerry Reinsdorf of the Chicago White Sox is blocking Cuban from buying the Cubs so Mark has turned his attention to St. Louis and the Cardinals. Any truth to this Bernie (or anyone else)?

I guess the point of the thread could also be that there was someone listening to Brian McKenna, or really morning sports radio in general.

Doesn't McKenna work for 590 and not 550? And didn't he say earlier in spring that the Cardinals were hiding how bad Albert's arm is and that they were waiting till the end of spring to announce he was having surgery done to miss the whole season?

I haven't been over there to check it out but I'm guessing that thread has exploded or is just about to!

That being said...good god I would love to have Cuban. MLB will never let him in though I'm sure.

I've never understood the hatred for McKernan. To each his own though. I'll take McKernan a million times over before McKenna though. I'm still trying to figure out how he keeps a job in radio.
