Marquis is teflon. He sucks with Mazzone. Then he sucks with Duncan. He sucks so much as a Cub the mere fact he's scheduled to go in 4 NLDS 07 causes Lou to pull Zam too early, Cubs lose the series. Despite this track record, he's still in the Scrubs rotation, thinking to himself that his whining worked.

If Wood does get hurt, that is only good news for the Cardinals since Dempster will probably revisit the closer role...

Which is prob the reason he made it in the first place even though Lieber has had a good spring. Although, Marqueef has been solid in the spring too.

My prediction is that he pitches well till about Mid June....then his ERA is about 5.50 the rest of the season.
