Trying to plan a bachelor party (not for me). I've never been, but heard it's cool. Appreciate any thoughts...this would be summer-ish, so skiing and the like are irrelevant.

I went there in 2004 and loved it. The Gastown area is what one might consider the Soulard of St Louis as there are some good places to eat and drink.
As for the strip clubs, I find it hard tossing coins at them (loonies and toonies).
Not because they are better or anything, but just tossing coins seems cheap. Montreal is the place in Canada to go for the strip clubs.
